Date created: 19 Apr 2011 I would like to raise awarness of the signs that some one may be thinking of suicide. You see when I tried to take my own life I showed signs that I was going to do it but everyone thought I was joking. I want to be able to go into schools,offices,parent groups ect just to tell people the signs and to take them for real and what to do next.   • Avatar Marty Davis 01:07, 05 May 2011 Hi fiano I am a junction 49 er myself and your idea is one that I think has great potential in and that I would like to help if that's ok,I have a couple of ideas but don't want to but in so its up to you,firstly I thought you can create some leaflets drops them into schools health centres just explaining how suicide has a big impact into days lifes,also maybe start your own group up 1 month ,explain to the people in it your story and how you got throught it,I am also working hard to make my idea come true,which is to do with autism which can also lead to suicide,if you want help I'm free thanks marty Report Abuse

    I think Marty's suggestion to create flyers that you could hand ou at local organisations is fantastic. Its something i never thought of myself, but it could work wonders in getting your message across. Its great that Marty has volunteered to help out, and after the issue of this months signpost you may get others to jump on board too. Also, why not add an action stating what needs to be done =)
