Action: Enlighten

I am calling young people aged 16-25 who have strong conviction in the role that religion plays in achieving a peaceful society. We may all hold different beliefs but fundamentally, I know most religions believe in the importance of love and living for others - you don't even have to be religious to believe in that. In that sense, I also encourage those who are atheists to join. With no exception, all of us would benefit in understanding each other's customs and traditions. Furthermore, I also invite those who are still 'searching' for their faith as there will be a lot of opportunities to explore and meet people who already follow certain principles.

I need a venue. I am thinking of basing it in Aston University where I study but open it for the whole Birmingham community. So potentially, if the Aston University faculty is willing, I am thinking of making this an Aston University outreach project.
