To make up as many shoeboxes as possible full of presents and goodies for children in Bulgaria.
These are as valuable as gold dust as it is the only present these children will receive and usually includes small items that they can call their own, in addition to more practical items. The shoeboxes will support the work of CORF (Children's Overseas Relief Fund) who will distribute the... more
Action: Mass present wrapping session: Thursday 30th October, 16:30-18:30: Room 4E13, Frenchay campus
On this day we will collect together empty shoeboxes, full shoeboxes, items and presents to go in the boxes - you can bring along one or many! And any spare wrapping paper if you have it! The little presents can be new or second hand, from a charity shop or your own unwanted gifts.
The idea is to put together as many full shoeboxes as we can, so lots of present wrapping! Then CORF will send the boxes off the children in orphanages in Bulgaria.
It will be a fun evening and there may even be a drink in the bar afterwards, courtesy of Junction49!
See you there. :)
