A Candle vigil is being held at Nottingham Castle in support of the city's Darfuri community.
There are believed to be between 200 and 400 people from the war-torn region of Sudan living in the city.
Walk4Darfur has been organised by the student branch of Notts-based humanitarian organisation Aegis Trust.
To take part, meet at the Robin Hood statue outside Nottingham Castle at 3pm on Sunday.
