What it's all about
I am taking up the challenge of walking the Great Wall of China in a bid to raise money for Children suffering the effects of war all over the world. The trip is organised by the charity Muslim Hands, and is apart of their Green Ribbon Week initiative. Green Ribbon Week is the time of year where as much money as possible is raise all over the country for child victims of war. As one of my fundraising ideas i am holding an arts and crafts fun day for women and children; jam packed with little activities to help raise money.
What's needed to make it a reality
I would need supplies such as arts and crafts, ingriedients, possible fundraising ideas and any helpfull tips and advice!

What a great idea! One fun activity you could have is origami - charge a small amount to be taught how to make something like a bird or a flower: check this out! One piece of advice - don't end up doing all the folding yourself - kids have a tendency to hand it over when they find it difficult...so make sure you give it back for the next step
Because you are a student at Nottingham University you can access up to £750 to turn your idea into a reality. Nottingham University is one of 15 Universities who are taking part in the scheme where you can access funding, training and support from your Junction49 staff member (Catie Smith) to help you get your project up and running.
Good luck with your idea
