What it's all about

For our one off project next term we are organising a litterpick with Bill Bryson. We hope to attract lots of volunteers and our litterpick project leader is going to plan a route through Durham. Afterwards we are going to have food and drinks to say thanks to all our volunteers and give them chance to have a chat with Bill Bryson.
This will be a great way to make Durham look more beautiful, raise the profiel of SCA and junction 49 and attract lots of new students to voulunteering that may previously not have been on a litterpick. Our plan is to persuade people that the task itself isn’t just dirt and grime, that it’s actually an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.

What's needed to make it a reality

We will need to purchase some litterpickers, buy some food and drinks for after the event, and produce some flyers/posters to publisie the event and attract volunteers.
