Junction 49/ SCA organised an awards ceremony in Student Volunteering Week to recognise and further inspire student volunteering at Durham University.

  • Avatar Jo & Andy 13:21, 07 March 2008 Thanks to all our volunteers who came to the oSCArs. Two junction 49 awards were given to students who have made an outstanding contribution to their projects adn volunteering thsi year.
    Best Junction 49 Project leader
    Nominations: Nick Matthews, Jess Pountney Helen Thomas, Nicola Ellis, Felicity Jackson and Jess Carmicheal.
    And the winner was Jess Pountney for KeenOn games.
    Best Junction 49 Volunteer
    Nominations Andy Singleton, Helen Thomas, Jess Poutney and Nick Mathews.
    And the winner was Nick Mathews for volunteering with an autistic boy.
    Thanks to all the SCA exac for putting on such a fantastic event and to all the fantastic work Durham University students have done this year.
