How it's done

The SU will be holding a free workshop at 5.30pm on 8th May at Kedleston Road in room B122 for all those interested in learning the basics of British Sign Language. A qualified BSL tutor from Derby College will be holding an hour long session for all those interested in getting started with this skill. Organised in conjunction with the UDSU and Junction 49, it is free and open to students and members of the general public alike. Places are limited so if you are interested please contact Alex Stackhouse via junction49@udsu.co.uk to reserve your place.

Just to say I hope this one-off goes well, I held one here at Kingston and it was very popular with everyone Smile Also good timing for yours as its during National Deaf Awareness Week, it would be really good if more people had a basic understanding of sign language Smile
