What it's all about

We are organising a music festival to raise money for charity and the profile of volunteering. As junction 49 Volunteer Co-ordinator I will be running a one off project on the day. I will be promoting junction 49 and the work of SCA. A team of volunteers will be around the site telling people how great volunteering is and how to get involved. SCA and Junction 49 projects will be advertised and more volunteers for these projects will be recruited on the day. This will be a great way to promote volunteering and raise the profile of junction 49 and SCA.

What's needed to make it a reality

I will be running this as a one off project as the Volunteer Support Officer at Durham University. Any students at Durham university who are interested in volunteering with this project should get in touch with me.

Thye are selling tickets for us and providing stewards for the gates. Planning is going well and it looks like it is going to be an amazing day. We all just hope it doesn't rain.
