How it's done

New Income Assistants | Volunteer Opportunities
6-month contract | Minimum 4 days per week

Oxfam Unwrapped. Oxfam Online. Oxjam. Just some of the fresh, new ways we’re raising our profile as well as the funds needed to support our emergency relief, development and advocacy projects. Land one of our intern spots on the New Income Team and you’ll not only get real responsibility working for a major global NGO. You’ll have a direct impact on our fight against poverty.

Be challenged
Our New Income Team has some pretty ambitious targets to meet, so if you think an internship involves tea rounds and shop runs, think again. At least 60% of your time will be spent managing projects that will have a huge impact on the development of Oxfam Unwrapped, Oxfam Online Shop, and various fundraising events. So if you’re looking to take on real responsibility as part of a major global organisation, here’s your chance.

Be yourself
This is a unique opportunity to gain inside knowledge of how a major global organisation works. It’s a big responsibility too, which is why we need people with good communication and computer skills, a head for figures and knowledge of online and offline marketing. And if you can show us the energy and enthusiasm to help us come up with the next big thing, this could be your big break.

Be Oxfam
If you still think of Oxfam as the little old charity shop on your high street, it’s time to take another look. We’re the largest charity retailer in the UK and a brand that’s as commercially astute as any other retailer. We have to be. The profit we make doesn’t line any corporate pockets. It saves lives. And to fight poverty and injustice in some of the world’s poorest countries, we have to fight for business here first.

Be noticed
Be loud. Be proud. Be at the heart of our success. To find out more about landing one of our intern spots, visit Click here to read the original link email emcgregor@oxfam.org.uk or call 01865 472369.
