We giving young people the information, advice and support that they need to succeed and have fun in their passion.We help young people to start a career doing what they love to do.
We aim to build a million pound world class youth centre to get young people off the streets and doing possitive things to prepare for their future and have fun doing it.

I agree that it is important for there to be opportunities for young people which allow them to have fun whilst also doing something productive.
Setting up a Youth Centre is a huge undertaking as you need to consider location, volunteers, services and costs.
As you want to encourage young people to indulge their passions, try adding some actions to your idea so that other Junction49 members can see how they can get involved! You can see what talents locals to you in Suffolk have and they could become responsible for running those youth activities

Have you any particular activities that you would like to see provided? The below link provides a list of existing youth services in Suffolk http://www.suffolk.gov.uk/LeisureAndCulture/YoungPeoplesActivities/ . You can then see what is lacking in your local area.
vcashpoint offers grants of up to £2500 to enable young people to set up their project which creates volunteering opportunities to benefit their community www.vinspired.com/vbuzz/campaigns/171/ .

Your next step is to decide on your proposed budget and let us know. We can offer you £300 but if you feel you could put more to good use then let us know why in the budget you send us. Of course just £300 isn't enough to set up a youth centre...but perhaps you could run some sessions for young people in part of a town hall or sports' centre...and then move on from there. We're here to help you develop your idea so post up your thoughts and you can get going to turn your idea into reality :)
