What it's all about

As mentioned above my name is Luke. I am a student of a third year of psychology at Middlesex University. I'm really dedicated person who has big field of interests. For example, I like to draw and paint. I also paint minatures of all types. I have started with dioramas and models that were presenting militaries of world war II, at present from time to time I paint warhammer minatures with impresing results. I also play electric guitar and I absolutely adore it. However, I have been interested for a long while in movies. That was the beginning to admiration of the performing art. With the time it became my small passion, so I used to watched movies and analize acting, scrip plays, etc. (I still do it). Therefore, I was thinking to myself that I should try it. Additional encouragement I have from my courses, which include for example: non-verbal and verbal communication, which is extremly helpful. Moreover, acting became my life’s challenge, especially because of the language. Amazingly I did thing that seemed to be imposible to me, I got rid of my polish accent. I have chosen american accent but I love to try different accents to, e.g: hindu, chinese, spanish or american hick. That is another factor that is encouraging me in signing in to some acting classes. I have been trying to find something like community theatre around my local area, unfortunately with no success. I have also asked my university and tutors responsible for acting classess. The answer was simple: Sign up for classess! well I don't have money to pay additional courses. I was dying to start something like community theatre with people of the simmilar interests. I was thinking that we could actually meet in chosen place twice a week and prepare plays for anyone who is interested. That would be great cultural opportunity for students. I also think that project should have supervisor who actually is professional actor/actress or acting classes tutor, to give advices and provide help when needed. Yup that's it I believe these are the most important factors to start student's community theatre.
Well I think that should be enough.

What's needed to make it a reality

I think that the most important is the place for practising and meeting. Secondly, tutor, tutor and once again tutor!!!!! without professional advice it won't work or even if so we are not going to enjoy it (it seems to me that without a person like that it is going to be vain and plain).
Thirdly, costumes that we could borrow for plays from university if they have any.
