What it's all about
Thursday 28th Feb - Food Watch at King Richard III Infant School Year 2
The Involve Student Committee is running a series of workshops about healthy eating, cooking and looking after plants. The workshops will cover cooking and taste testing, exploring food through art and design and planting. These workshops set out to inform children about the importance of healthy eating as well as familiarise them with foods they may not have encountered. They will also get an opportunity to plant seeds and watch them grow into vegetables to gain a grater understanding of where their food comes from. This project was inspired by Jamie Oliver's school dinners.
