What it's all about

A local school for children with physical disabilities are running a healthy week and myself and Rhiannon are hoping to run a drama and art project around this theme. We would encourage the children to carry out imaginative role plays concerning certain fruits and veg, they will then go on to create bright and exciting pictures of their favourites using different mediums for texture.

What's needed to make it a reality

We would require a small amount of funding to get a variety of fruits and vegetables for the children to play with and get a feel for. We would also like to get some textural materials i.e. bubble wrap, corregated cardboard and furry material, coloured card board to paint on and of course paint etc for the children to make the pictures of their fruites and veg.

Thank you for coming in earlier and posting your idea. I think its going to be a great project and its really good you were able to go down to the school yesterday and have a look round to get a feel for it.

As you know because you are both students at Kingston University you can access funding and support to turn your idea into a reality.

Ill be in touch soon to plan your project further,

Well done on this project! I thought it was a great success and the feedback from the school was really positive. It was a great way to highlight the importance of healthy eating to young children in a fun and accessible way.
