Why it was needed

This was part of the Junction49 session at this year's Volunteering England Conference for student volunteers, held on Friday 7th March 2008 in Staffordshire.

What's being done

Student volunteers from around the UK pledged to plant a shrub...by marking the location on a map (photo attached! http://www.junction49.co.uk/cinema/article1446_resource2094.html)...and receiving a free shrub!

If you were there and have planted your shrub please comment on this project and email your photo to help@junction49.co.uk...or if you have it on your phone email us and we'll figure out a way to get it up here... :P

How it started

The sticker at the top right of the map represents someone who pledged to plant a shrub in Poland!
