What it's all about
in terms of our volunteering we decided to run a session in a local school about our country Cyprus. It is an hour session including information about the island's geography, history culture and environment. To make it more interesting we offer to the children traditional cheese and sweets. The session also involves activities such as teaching basic greek words or identifying Cyprus in the map. At the end, there is a quiz and the winning team gets a prize!we are going to teach in a class of eight years old children.
What's needed to make it a reality
we first make the bullet point of the presentation as well as a powerpoint presentation. We then prepare the activities and the quiz. At the end we need some funding in order to buy the food and the quiz prize.

Well done on your sessions guys! The one I came to was really good, it was nice to see how enuthiasiastic the children were to learn about another country
