Why it was needed

It combined fun artisitc play and learning for 60 eight year olds with learning about climate change and how to be more green. It taught the university volunteers about the benefits of volunteering

What's being done

I put together a core team of people, to design and plan the actual mural and the running of the day. this team then worked together after the mural day, on serveral occassions, transporting the pieces, varnishing them and drilling holes in all of the 30 boards so they could be put together. we are now building a structure together so it can be displayed

How it started

It took up a lot more time then I anticipated getting all the materials and planning with the team how we were going to actually realise something good with the children. Since the actual day we have had to meet weekly to organise the next stage in the plan to getting in displayed.
