What it's all about

On the 7th June READ International will be holding an abseil with the help of Awesome walls and using the ventilation shafts thanks to Mersey tunnels. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help send thousands of school text books to secondary schools in Tanzania.

What's needed to make it a reality

Awesome walls are charging £750 for this event, this includes 4 members of staff working the full day, all equipment, supervision and travel (staff) are included in this price.

Mersey tunnels provide the use of their building for free as a charitable donation.

We have a limit of 50 people allowed to do the abseil, each has a sponsorship form and is currently raising money to help send the books over.

We would like to ask for a contribution from you in order to maximize our fundraising target of £2000. This money will go towards the Awesome wall fee and thus enabling us to reach our target and the text books to Tanzania.
