What it's all about

Myself and my business partner Natalie Castle wanted to work with a charity called Appeal4Jessica and decided to do a sponsored run, but this fell through due to time and financial constraints, we then racked our brains and decided to do a project involving the local community and celebrating London's diversity. For me as a Londoner, I am not very keen on the city, but I think it's diversity is one of the things to be very proud about! We also feel that with the current level of gun and knife crime in London and a lot of people being against London's diversity, it is a time to change this whilst raising money for a very good cause.

What's needed to make it a reality

Why it was needed

What's being done

The project is currently a photo shoot which is taking place on july 20th on campus, but once the shoot is done, we are going to be passing the photos over in view of having it made into a calendar which will be available for general release called "students of london". Should it be a success next year we want to take the success of this project and make it a nationwide thing and have other major cities with universities taking part in it.

How it started

Well setting this up didn't take too much time at all really. I game up with the idea, sent an email around UEL's business school got a few students interested, then spoke to some of my other friends who are at colleges around London, sent out some emails and posters to colleges and then asked some friends to ask their friends if they would like to get involved.
