What it's all about

Interested in local history...
Conservation work...
Getting your hands dirty...?

This is an excting opportunity to be involved in volunteering in your local community. Currently a medieval barn (built in 1342) in the local area is being renovated. Work is being done to re-vitalise this nationally important agricultural complex.

Volunteers would be involved in contributing to the renovation by doing practical conservation work... lots of fun!

  • Avatar Victoria Elliott 10:51, 23 September 2008 This sounds interesting and I’m sure the budding historians and conservationists at UWE would find volunteering on this project really useful!

We normally point Junction49 members who are looking for an existing volunteering opportunity to the forum section of the website. The ideas sections is more for the development of Junction49ers own projects.

Would be great if you could organise a group of students to all go to the barn together and keep track of the progress.
