What it's all about

Come along to the centre of campus (outside the Kimberlin Library) on Wednesday 29th October at 12 noon and get involved with Junction49 here at DMU by learning how to build a bird box with help from members of the local British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV). On the day we will have information about how you can get involved in other environmental conservation volunteering in Leicestershire, and how you can start your own volunteer community project @ DMU with your friends and get up to £750 to make your project cost-free!

  • Avatar Serena 22:41, 07 October 2008 I'd like to join in, however, I will have a lecture on 1pm, so could you let me know how long it will take. Thanks.
  • Avatar Sarah Corrigan 10:54, 08 October 2008 Hi Serena,
Glen is away at the moment until the 20th October, but from what I understand of the event, you can come along for as long or as little time as you have. So if you only have a short time to spare that's absolutely not a problem, you can leave when you have to get to your lecture.

Yes you can come along for as little or as long as you like! The event will be running from 12 for the whole afternoon.

Look forward to seeing you there!
