What it's all about
We are a student team working to inspire young people to be environmentally-responsible global citizens! We will be delivering workshops in a local primary school, to promote environmental education and action.
What's needed to make it a reality
I am seeking a co-project leader and volunteers. Later on we'll be seeking funding and resources, but I've now met with UCL's Junction49 development worker and it's almost ready to go!

That's great that you've already got in touch with Nadia, your Volunteer Support Officer. Nadia can help you access up to £750 to turn your idea into a reality. UCL is one of 12 Universities who are taking part in the scheme where you can access funding, training and support to help you get your project up and running.
This website might be useful to you, as it gives some activity ideas for young children in teaching them about the environment and recycling: http://www.childrenoftheearth.org/Stone%20Pages/awesome_activities.htm
Let us know how it goes and if you need any help or advice.

Thanks for your message. I found a few more websites which have some ideas about teaching children about the importance of being green and some of them have examples of activities you can do, i.e. planting trees, cleaning up a local area (beach, park etc..)

I hope they are of use to you. How is the development of the idea going?
