What it's all about

World Diabetes Day is a health campaign co-ordinated by the International Diabetes Federation. It is held annually on the 14th November and aims to raise global awareness about Diabetes. The theme this year is Diabetes in Children and Adolescents.
My idea is to set up as many stands as possible all over the country with pharmacy students speaking to the general public and raising awareness about Diabetes.

What's needed to make it a reality

Funds
Pharmacy students
Leaflets
Eye-catching ideas
Co-operation from local pharmacies
Publicity materials

Available actions

As you're a student at Kingston you can access up to £750 to turn your idea into a reality. Kingston is one of 12 Universities who are taking part in the scheme where you can access funding, training and support from your Volunteer Support Officer (Martin) to help you get your project up and running. You can take a look at the university page here:

Looks like everyone enjoyed making the big blue circle. It's great to see you've added up some photos and that the project was a success. Perhaps you could add a post to your diary, letting everyone know how it went to celebrate your success :-)
