Thank you for posting your idea here on Junction49. This is a great opportunity to be providing for teenagers during the summer months when they've got a long holiday and not always sure of what to do to fill the time.

There are a some other similar ideas on Junction49 which you might be interested and may provide you with some extra inspiration too. If you want to find out more, you can just comment on their idea:

In terms of getting funding for your idea, here are a few potential opportunities:
    • Camden http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/community-and-living/youth-opportunity-fund-and-youth-capital-fund.en
If you're 19 or under you can apply to this fund, but even if you're older it's a great website and has links to local community centres who you could contact to find a venue for your session. Maybe the council will even help fund it/community centres themselves might have pots of money for running such activities so it's worth getting in touch.

    • YouthBank http://www.youthbank.org.uk/
Only provide to local young people. If you go to the website and find out whether there is a YouthBank near you, you can then get in contact to find out about how you can apply for a grant. (you can be up to 25years old for this one)

    • Vcashpoint http://www.vinspired.com/opportunities/vcashpoint/
Young people between 16-25 years old can apply for up to £2500 to set up a project which will make a difference in their communities.

Let us know how we can help and if you need any help/advice with filling out funding applications please get in touch :-)

Just thought I would let you know about this funding opportunity which I think you have a really strong chance of getting and would really urge you to apply. The deadline is 30th June so very soon, but it's worth a chance and you can apply for between £500 and £5000.

Did you manage to get this project off the ground and run it? If you didn't manage to but are still looking to do something maybe on the weekend or in the half term/Christmas holidays, let me know and I'll be happy to help with funding and any other advice you might need,
