What it's all about
To increase deaf awareness and teach basic sign language to local primary school pupils. Volunteers go to local primary schools and spend a couple of hours teaching children about the deaf community and some basic sign language.
What's needed to make it a reality
None as the UCL Volunteering Services Unit already providing support & J49 funding obtained to make it happen, thanks

Great to see your idea up on Junction49. How did the project go? Did all the children and volunteers involved get a lot out of it? You can update your idea by adding a diary entry to let everyone know how it went and if you have any future plans for the project.
