What it's all about

I'm sitting here in Spain enjoying the 25C temperatures, while in London its only 10C. I'm really not looking forward to cold, grey blah weather that is sure to greet me on my return. I'd love to be able to speed up this global warming thing so the weather will be nicer when I get back. Can everyone please shift into energy inefficiency more. Turn on all your lights, keep your cars running (even when you aren't in them). Fly around in holding patterns if possible.

What's needed to make it a reality

Theres really only 2 days till I get back. And despite global warming happening, its probably not going to happen in the next 2 days. Does anyone have any good ideas? Maybe a space laser or something? Perhaps a shift of the earth slightly closer to the sun? I dunno... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Avatar Nick 12:09, 05 March 2007 I think this is a brilliant idea. I'm going to Europe this spring and really want it to be super hot. Eventually, if it gets proper messed up and global warming makes us tropical, all those american chicas looking for a wild spring break get away will want to come to England...
  • Avatar Mariiche 23:15, 01 April 2007 It's Sunday night and it takes a while for my exhausted and sick mind to focus on global warming. And since I'm forced to do so by my obsessive, message-posting, screen-staring and, quite literally, virtual husband, I have to say that I like things just the way they are. Rainy, gloomy, melancholy and cold weeks in London, followed by the occasional sun-drenched day or two when everyone and everyhting comes back to life and suddenly you realise you have more appreciation for the ordinary things in life. So, it's all about natural balance and some have it while others don't and temperatures in London should stay as they were yesterday ... because if I dream of fierce invalids and hot climates I'll do what I've always wanted to do and settle down in South America. The food is better too.
