What it's all about

I believe there is one sure way to create a peaceful world. Spread laughter. You know how they say a smile is infectious, well why not combine that with some hard hitting messages that will make people take notice through laughter.

My idea is to create animations that feature key issues such as sexual health or global warming. It will be an interesting way to present facts and discuss issues in a non threatening format. Issues seem less threatening to deal with if you can laugh through them. I think this will also make them less threatening to deal with.

What can make it happen?

Well I can't animate worth a bean, which gave me the idea that perhaps I could get involved in giving other people the opportunity to present their own solutions to key issues through short, humorous animations. Trouble is I'm not sure where to start or what it will take to pull something like this off.

  • Avatar Jeko Ianev 23:03, 25 April 2007 You know what I think would make a big dent? If you could find one animator to do an initial element. Obviously the work will speak for itself. You could highlite it on this site or put it up on YouTube. I think it might just be a matter of putting two heads together to get some initiative.

If you've got one wicked ani, you'll surely get more submissions. Well maybe I'm an optomist.
