What it's all about

The here to Help Awards want to get young people involved in dynamic and lasting community projects...this is a chance to get your hands on some dosh to make your ideas a reality!!

They have over 50 Awards of up to £1,000 to give away, projects must take place between September - November 2007. They can fund projects and activities that help children and young people who are excluded and isolated as well as those living in noted areas of deprivation.

Projects must relate to one of the following themes: poverty, health, education and safety/protection. Priority will be given to communities and groups facing most disadvantage.

Sounds cool huh? I'm involved with a group who has just been awarded one of these so I know it's true :)
