What it's all about

-Create a group for autistic children and their families/carers.
-A place for the parents/carers to get together, talk and have "time off" from their normal routine.
-Idea was created when I attended the One Step Ahead programme that is specifically designed to develop and enhance communication skills, leadership skills and creating your independent project.

What's needed to make it a reality

-Anyone with any specific experience working with autistic children of various ages/behaviours/backgrounds

    Since you're at Kingston and it's one of the universities Junction49's working with in partnership you can apply for up to £750 funding to run your project. Contact your volunteer support officer for access to funding, training and support.
