I am part of the SOAS Good Food Society. We have managed to get hold of a derelict piece of land and have started to turn it into a community garden for people living within London. The aim is to raise money and awareness for orphans in Zimbabwe who are primarily affected by HIV AIDS. The money will be donated to SOS Children's Village based in Waterfalls. The funds will go towards providing clothing, food, school fees, medical treatment, housing improvements and counselling.

I feel that there isnt enough help made available to children who loose a parent. Advice should be given and routine of counciling should be offered to the child, family advice given to families. Sessions to do memory boxes etc to help the child come to terms of the loss.
