I am the Junction 49 Volunteer Support Officer for Northumbria University Students Union. If you have an idea come and tell me about it, I'd love to hear it. There is £750 available to run a new project and I can help you with training, advice and support for any idea you might like to get going. No idea is too big or too small. Come and see me and together we can help make your idea a reality.
In my spare time I run a gallery in a pub and music venue called The Cluny located in The Ouseburn Valley showcasing art from local student, graduate and emerging artists. I am also an artist and regularly exhibit in the region and beyond.
I studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, graduating in 2007 and have volunteered on and off since I was 16 for youth and community groups, educational charities and arts projects. I have extensive knowledge of the charitable sector and have a particular interest in educational, environmental and arts projects.
Get in touch if you have any questions or have an idea (no matter what size) by emailing yvette.hawkins@northumbria.ac.uk
