About Junction49

If you're aged 13-25 Junction49 is here to help you set up your own projects, campaigns or events about the issues that matter to you. Best of all, the dedicated Junction49 helpdesk team will give you tailored advice and support to get your idea off the ground.

As we're an online community, it's easy for you to connect with other people, ask for help and inspire each other.

Once your idea is posted up on the site you'll be guaranteed personal help and support from the Junction49 team via the website.  You'll also get your own page dedicated to your idea which you can use to plan your project by adding actions, and you can keep everyone updated with how it's all going by adding diaries, photos and videos.

Don't have an idea of your own, but still want to help out?  You can offer practical advice and support to young people setting up projects by commenting on their ideas.

A quick summary!

1) You submit an idea

2) We respond to your idea, giving you advice on how to turn your idea into reality.

3) We offer you support on where to find funding and how to put together a plan.

4) You can also gain support from other young people who've had similar ideas.

5) Now add actions to your idea - this is just another way of describing a to do list of everything you need to do to get going. But the important thing is that once you've posted the actions all other Junction49 members can see them and offer to help you out.

6) Keep everyone updated with how it's going by adding diary entries to your idea page along with photos and videos too.

7) Share your experience with other Junction49ers by commenting on their ideas.

Junction49 is a project delivered by vInspired.  It was established in 2007 by TimeBank with support from T-Mobile and v.  The Junction49 Facilitators project was funded by The Learning Revolution: Transformation Fund.
