About Junction49

Junction49 is the place for young people to go if they want to use their time to make a difference.

If there's any issue that you want to do something about then post your ideas here. It could be feeling dismayed about homelessness to scared about gang culture.

Once your idea is posted up on the site you'll be guaranteed personal help and support from the Junction49 team via the website.

To sum it up - you post up your idea and we help you turn it into a reality that'll contribute to change.

If you are more of a backstage type of person and know that your strengths lie in helping out with practical advice or lending a helping hand then you should register and find a project that you like the sound of and volunteer to help out.

A quick summary!

1) You submit an idea

2) We respond to your idea, giving you advice on how to turn your idea into reality.

3) We offer you support on where to find funding and how to put together a plan.

4) You can also gain support from other young people who've had similar ideas.

5) Now add actions to your idea - this is just another way of describing a to do list of everything you need to do to get going. But the important thing is that once you've posted the actions all other Junction49 members can see them and offer to help you out
