Teachers
Junction49 supports and inspires young people aged 14-25 to set up and deliver their own projects, campaigns and events around issues that matter to them. The Junction49 team provides training and support to young people online and in schools, Further Education Colleges, youth groups and universities.
The Junction49 website and helpdesk are free tools which your students can tap into, and can help form part of your citizenship curriculum. Through our school programme, we can also offer face to face support to pupils in your school to give them the opportunity to lead their own volunteering projects.
Junction49 On The Ground Half Day
Half day training for your students on ideas generation, project planning, teamwork and Junction49. At the end of this session, they should have an idea for a volunteering project and a plan of how to deliver this. We then support them via Junction49.co.uk to turn their project into reality.
Junction49 On The Ground Day
A full day combining training and project work. In one day, your students will be trained on ideas generation, project planning and teamwork, then develop and deliver their ideas to make a difference in the afternoon.
Junction49 On The Ground Collaboration
Three days of training to enable older students to design and deliver volunteering projects with younger pupils in your school. We provide training to Sixth Form or Year 11 students, and then support them to work with their younger peers in the same school to create a project.
These sessions and our support can be tailored to your needs. If you are interested please contact Zoe Hammersone on 020 7785 6442 or z.hammerstone@timebank.org.uk.
