Win £1000 Social Funding
Pitch us your best idea
Sign up and pitch us an idea for a positive community project and be entered to win £1000 in funding to get it off the ground. Applications for this funding have unfortunately now closed.
How will the entries be judged?
Entries will be judged by Junction49 based on the following criteria:
- Effectiveness – will the idea have a measurable positive impact on a community? It needs to directly benefit individuals or a community, or raise awareness of an issue or cause
- Practicability – is the idea practical? Does it address real needs? Is it achievable on a community level?
- Affordability – is the idea budget reasonable? Will it be achievable with the £1000 prize?
- Sustainability – does this idea have the potential to be ongoing? Will it survive beyond the initial funding?
If my idea is found to be the best, what do I win?
The top entries, as determined by the Junction49 Judges, will receive an award in the amount of the idea budget (up to a maximum of £1000) from Junction49 to fund an idea to address an issue.
How and when will I know if I've won?
Shortlisted entrants will be contacted by Junction49 and asked to submit a description of the idea "process" (how will the idea will be turned into reality) along with a detailed budget and list of current needs (volunteers, materials, etc).
The winners will be notified on Junction49.co.uk after 31st December 2008 with requests for a postal address and phone number and must respond to that message within 1 week of receiving it.
