Digitall and Junction49 have joined forces to support young people to develop their own community projects. Digitall is run by TimeBank, the charity behind Junction49, and funded by v. Digitall brings together young people aged 18-25 who are willing to share their experience of using the Internet and computers with people who are interested in getting to grips with new technology, or improving their digital skills. Digitall volunteers work in pairs - each younger person (mentor) supports a partner (mentee) on a one-to-one basis for twelve hours over a period of 6-12 weeks.
Digitall volunteers who have completed their mentoring and who have been inspired to set up their own project can post their idea on Junction49, where they will receive advice and support from other Digitall volunteers and Junction49ers.
