Virtual Volunteering The Virtual Volunteering project aims to attract young people aged 16-25 into virtual volunteering. It also aims to build upon traditional face-to-face volunteering and become another way to engage with young people. Virtual volunteering means volunteer tasks completed, in whole or in part, via the Internet at a home, work or other computer. It is also known as online volunteering and various other names.
