Agents4Change is an innovative project set up to encourage young people between the ages of 16 and 25 to use their passions and their energy to make a difference in their local community .
The project is led by young people - Community Catalysts - who are volunteering full-time to set up exciting opportunities in their local areas for other young people to join in with.
Volunteering charity CSV is using its expertise to support the Community Catalysts to engage with 12,000 young people across England . The project is sponsored by Tesco and youth charity ‘v’.
You could spend as little time as one afternoon on a project. Or if you prefer you could continue with more events or could even take part in ongoing weekly or monthly assignments. It is completely up to you and your interests and the time you can afford to give to the community.
The projects are a great opportunity for you to do something fun and worthwhile with your peers.
You will receive a certificate from us, which will look great on your CV.
Projects are any areas of the community in need of some attention. This could be anything from clearing rubbish from a local park, painting a school playground, or throwing a Christmas party at an old people’s home.
If you know of any projects in need of attention in your area please let us know. We will take it from there and organise the projects for you.
Overall we hope to show young people the benefits of volunteering, improve the local community and challenge the negative stereotypes so commonly associated with young people.
