How it's done

There will be Rhododendrons to clear, a bonfire to build and jacket potatoes to eat!

We will be working down at Croxteth Country Park on Thursday the 21st of February clearing Rhododendrons and building a bonfire from around 10.00 -14.00, stopping at around 12.00 for some much deserved lunch. Transport will be provided and we will be picked up and dropped back off at Liverpool Students Union (The Haigh building, Maryland St).

Hopefully it will be a great opportunity to meet other people interested in creating their own community projects as well as being a chance to experience some of the perks of volunteering!

I would encourage as many of you as possible to take this opportunity up and don’t forget that this can still go on your CV and help build on your work experiences!

So if you are a student at LJMU and you are interested than get in touch ASAP so that I can pass on some important information!

There were a few last minute drop outs and I didnt want to take the risk that no one would show and let the partner organisation down.

I am going to reschedule this event for a date in the forthcoming weeks. If anyone is keen to register their interest on the Taster Opportunity then please drop me an email, call or online message - that way I can make sure I get the arrangements out to you in plenty of time.
